Bang Bang Chicken Kebabs
Bang Bang Chicken Kebabs are a tantalizing fusion of spicy and sweet flavors, offering succulent chicken marinated and skewered for an unforgettable dining experience.
Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 2 lbs chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, cut into 1" cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Parsley for garnishing Parsley
- Mini wood skewers soaked in water for 20-30 minutes Mini wood skewers
For the Bang Bang Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise (or full-fat Greek yogurt)
- 3-4 tbsp Sriracha Adjust to taste for spiciness
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, soy sauce, Sriracha, honey, vinegar, garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp. each of salt and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, drizzle the cubed chicken with olive oil, add paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until well coated.
Skewering and Cooking
- Thread 3-4 pieces of seasoned chicken onto each soaked wooden skewer, leaving some space between pieces.
- Place the kebabs on your air fryer rack or grill. Brush each skewer with about 1/3 cup of prepared Bang Bang sauce, reserving the rest for serving.
- Bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley, and accompanied by the reserved Bang Bang sauce for dipping.
Notes
Marinate the chicken for extra flavor, customize the spice level of Sriracha, and consider adding colorful vegetables onto the skewers.
