Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  • Add the spicy Italian sausage, breaking it up with a spatula while it cooks for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the diced red and green bell peppers along with the onion and continue cooking for 8-10 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly browned.
  • Add minced garlic, garlic seasoning blend, Cajun seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes, stirring for an additional minute.

Cooking

  • Pour in the beef or chicken broth and heavy cream, mixing well. Add freshly grated Parmesan cheese and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Cook the ravioli in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions, reserving a cup of pasta water before draining.
  • Fold the cooked ravioli into the sauce, incorporating all flavors and adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water as needed. Simmer gently for 10-15 minutes on low heat before serving.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped herbs if desired.

Notes
