  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken.
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute different cheeses.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Enhances the flavor of the biscuits.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Cut the refrigerated biscuits into quarters and scatter them on top of the chicken mixture.

Baking

  • Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the biscuits.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Consider adding vegetables like frozen peas or chopped broccoli for added nutrition. You can also experiment with different cheeses for a unique twist.
