Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the cottage cheese, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Drizzle in the olive oil and break in the egg. Add garlic powder if using.
  • Mix the ingredients until a shaggy dough forms. Add water gradually if the mixture feels too dry.
  • Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for a few minutes.
  • Divide the dough into about 8 small balls.
  • Flatten them slightly and roll out into discs about ΒΌ inch thick.

Cooking

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook each flatbread for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  • Repeat with the remaining dough and serve warm.

Notes

Adjust water carefully when mixing dough. Let the skillet preheat adequately for best results.
