Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, dill pickle relish, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. The mixture should come together with a beautifully aromatic scent.
  • Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each one into thick, juicy patties that are slightly larger than your buns.

Cooking

  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat until it’s nice and hot. You should hear a delightful sizzle as you place each patty onto the grill.
  • Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, until they reach your desired doneness; aim for a beautiful caramelized crust.
  • In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover the skillet or grill with a lid to help the cheese melt.
  • While the patties finish cooking, toast the hamburger buns until golden brown.
  • Assemble each burger by placing a patty on a toasted bun, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato slices, and additional pickles.

Serving

  • Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious flavors of your Crack Burgers!

Notes

For best results, use high-quality ground beef and avoid overmixing the patty mixture. Allow the patties to rest briefly after cooking.
