  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix Adds flavor and depth.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Enhances umami flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds zest.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Melted topping.
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns For serving.

Secret Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Base of the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup Adds sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Adds tanginess.
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish Adds zest.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ranch dressing mix, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty.

Cooking

  • Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes per side. Add cheddar cheese during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Making the Secret Sauce

  • Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and pickle relish in a small bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembling the Burgers

  • Toast hamburger buns on the grill or skillet until golden.
  • Spread secret sauce on the bottom bun, add the cheesy patty, then top with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Finish with the top bun.

Notes

Don't overmix the meat for tender patties. Let patties rest after cooking to maintain juiciness. Use high-quality cheese for the best melting results.
