For the Tiramisu

  • 1 cup strong coffee, cooled Deep, aromatic flavor for the dessert.
  • 1/2 cup dulce de leche Provides a creamy, sweet caramel flavor.
  • 1 package ladyfingers Light and airy cookies that soak up coffee.
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese Silky and rich cheese for creaminess.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Essential for achieving a luscious whipped texture.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Adds a touch of sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Infuses warm, aromatic depth.
  • to taste cocoa powder for dusting Balances sweetness with a hint of bitterness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cooled coffee with dulce de leche and mix until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • Briefly dip ladyfingers into the coffee-dulce de leche mixture and lay them at the bottom of the serving dish.
  • Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth it out.
  • Repeat the layers with dipped ladyfingers and remaining mascarpone mixture.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours, ideally overnight.

Serving

  • Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure coffee is strong and cooled before dipping ladyfingers. Chill overnight for optimal flavor.
