Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until the dough starts coming together.
  • If the dough is too soft, divide it and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  • Roll the chilled dough out to about 1/4 inch thickness.

Baking
