Ingredients
  

Lobster Tails

  • 4 pieces lobster tails (5 to 6 oz each)

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Cream Sauce

  • 1 tbsp butter for sauce
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced for sauce

Garnish

  • to taste Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your broiler.
  • Cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise to pull out the meat for presentation.

Seasoning

  • In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until blended.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat.

Broiling

  • Place the lobster tails in the broiler and cook for 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and lightly browned.

Cream Sauce

  • In a saucepan, melt 1 tbsp of butter, add flour, and stir for about a minute to create a roux.
  • Gradually whisk in heavy cream, cooking until thickened.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, additional minced garlic, and seasoning to taste.

Serving

  • Plate the lobster tails, spoon the creamy sauce over them, and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, allow the lobster to marinate in the butter mixture for 30 minutes before broiling. Consider adding red pepper flakes for heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
