Preparation

  • Boil the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the tortellini and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the butter to the skillet and allow it to melt over medium heat. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Gently add the drained tortellini back into the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter and beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve warm, adding garlic powder or fresh herbs for extra flavor.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat with a splash of water or broth to keep the tortellini moist.
