  • 1 large egg binding the mixture together

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling and added flavor

  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for topping) for a gooey finish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, egg, milk, and parsley. Mix thoroughly.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top of the meatloaf.

Cooking

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, until cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • For a cheesy topping, sprinkle mozzarella on the meatloaf during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing, then garnish with parsley.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Substitute whole wheat breadcrumbs for added health benefits. Experiment with spices or herbs for flavor variations.
