  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices, chopped

  • 1 tbsp olive oil, for brushing
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional) For added flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the croissant dough carefully and separate the triangles.
  • Sprinkle each triangle generously with the shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped pepperoni in the center.
  • Roll up the croissants starting from the wide end toward the point to keep the fillings snug.
  • Arrange the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between them.
  • Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle Italian seasoning if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy at the edges.
  • Let the croissant rolls cool for a minute and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, use fresh herbs like basil or oregano. Replace pepperoni with sautéed vegetables for a vegetarian option. Refrigerate the dough for easier handling.
