Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan to ensure easy release.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid over-mixing.
  • Add the cinnamon to the batter, and gently fold in the canned peach pie filling.
  • Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each donut well about 2/3 full.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
  • Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Cheesecake Glaze

  • In a small bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Once the donuts are cool, dip the tops into the cheesecake glaze, letting any excess drip off before serving.
