For the Hoagie Assembly

  • 4 hoagie rolls Soft and fluffy.
  • 4 slices provolone cheese For melting over the hoagie.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté for 5-7 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  • Season with salt and pepper; set vegetables aside.

Cooking the Steak

  • In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced beef steak and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder, adding salt and pepper to taste.

Assembling the Hoagie

  • Split hoagie rolls and place them cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  • Add a slice of provolone cheese on each roll.
  • Layer cooked steak, sautéed peppers, and onions on each roll.

Broiling

  • Broil hoagies for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts, watching carefully.
