  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies Add more if you prefer a spicier dip.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking into small pieces. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced tomatoes with green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir together.
  • Reduce heat to low and mix in cottage cheese until smooth and heated through.
  • Gradually stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using cumin or chili powder. You can also add black beans or corn for texture. Decorate with fresh cilantro or jalapeƱos for presentation. This dish can be prepared ahead of time and reheated.
