  • 12–14 medium medium shrimp Perfectly tender
  • 2 pieces jalapeño cheddar sausages Sliced into savory rounds

Eggs

  • 2 pieces soft-boiled eggs Peeled and halved

Vegetables and Herbs

  • 1 whole jalapeño Sliced for extra kick
  • 2 tbsp green onions Chopped for fresh flavor
  • 1 small onion Diced
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper Diced for color and flavor

Broth and Cream

  • 3 cups chicken broth Soul of the dish
  • 1 cup milk or half & half Makes it creamy

Noodles

  • 1 block ramen noodle Or 2 for larger portions

Preparation

  • Season the shrimp with paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

Cooking - Shrimp

  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  • Set the shrimp aside.

Cooking - Sausages

  • In the same skillet, add the sliced jalapeño cheddar sausages and sauté until golden brown.

Cooking - Broth

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic, diced onion, and red bell pepper until fragrant and softened.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, then bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in milk, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until everything melts into a creamy mixture.

Cooking - Noodles

  • Cook the ramen noodles directly in simmering broth for about 3 minutes or until tender.
  • Return the sautéed shrimp and sausage to the pot and mix well.

Serving

  • Serve ramen in bowls, topped with soft-boiled egg halves, slices of jalapeño, and sprinkle with green onions.
  • Drizzle with chili oil for added spice if desired.

Notes

Use leftover proteins as a substitute. Customize spices based on preference. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
