  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • to taste Salt & pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter for sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in the beaten egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Cooking

  • Place the breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer basket and air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small pan. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, then stir in honey and soy sauce. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Once the chicken is crispy and golden, toss in the warm honey garlic sauce until well-coated.

Notes

Store leftover chicken tenders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For best results, reheat in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
