  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds For a delightful garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro Chopped, brightening the dish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and drizzle half of the teriyaki sauce over them.
  • Place the salmon in the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily.
  • While the salmon bakes, cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  • In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear avocado slices for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  • Remove the salmon from the oven, break it into large flakes, and drizzle with remaining teriyaki sauce.

Assembly

  • Layer a portion of cooked rice at the bottom of your serving plate.
  • Add a generous portion of teriyaki salmon and a few slices of seared avocado.
  • Repeat the layers for a second stack to create an eye-catching presentation.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and fresh cilantro on top.
  • Squeeze lime juice over the stack before serving.

Notes

Marinate the salmon for deeper flavor, add sautéed vegetables for nutrition, or use quinoa for a gluten-free option.
