Instructions
 

Marinate the shrimp

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Stir until well blended.
  • Add the shrimp, tossing to coat thoroughly. Allow to marinate for about 15 minutes.

Cook the shrimp

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the pan.
  • Cook shrimp for approximately 3-4 minutes until wrapped in caramelization and opaque.

Sauté the vegetables

  • In the same skillet, add diced pineapple and bell peppers, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  • Add cooked rice, an extra tablespoon of soy sauce, and sesame oil, mixing thoroughly.

Assemble the dish

  • Using a ring mold, press the rice mixture to form the base. Carefully remove the mold.
  • Top the rice with sautéed shrimp. Optionally, layer with mashed avocado.

Garnish and serve

  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider using quinoa or brown rice. Feel free to customize vegetables based on your preferences.
