Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Gently fold in the finely chopped walnuts, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  • Gradually incorporate the all-purpose flour, stirring until a cohesive dough forms.
  • Roll small portions of the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • Melt the dark chocolate over simmering water until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled truffle in the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Return to the baking sheet and let the chocolate set at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Notes
