  • 1 pound ground chicken or turkey juicy and flavorful
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce bringing a savory depth
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil adding a nutty aroma
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger providing a zesty brightness
  • 1 clove garlic minced to enhance the earthiness

Soup Base

  • 4 cups chicken broth the soul of the soup
  • 2 cups water for balancing flavors
  • 2 cups bok choy chopped to bring freshness
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms earthy and rich
  • 2 pieces green onions sliced for a burst of color
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken or turkey, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Mix well until fully blended.
  • Take one wonton wrapper, place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center, moisten the edges with water, fold it in half to create a triangle, and seal properly. Bring the corners together and pinch to seal securely. Repeat with remaining wrappers.

  • Gently add the prepared wontons and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  • Stir in the chopped bok choy and mushroom slices, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender.
  • Season the soup with salt and pepper according to your taste.

Serving

  • Ladle the soup into bowls, garnish with sliced green onions, and enjoy.

Notes

To elevate your soup, freeze extra filling for future meals, experiment with different proteins, and add more vegetables as desired.
